Marti is the President of Anderson Travel Planners and has been a travel agent for over 40 years.
After working for Knightly Travel in Seattle for 15 years, she bought the agency in 1993, renaming it Anderson Travel. In 2009 she relocated closer to home in Gig Harbor.
She is proud to have completed her CTC - equivalent to a master’s degree for a Travel Agent, as well as being an Accredited Cruise Counselor. She completed several Destination Specialist courses as well as numerous industry and vendor sponsored continuing education opportunities.
Through the years, Marti has traveled to Asia, Europe, Mexico, Australia, the Caribbean Islands, Hawaii, the Cook Islands, Costa Rica and Panama, and much of the US. She enjoys cruising, exploring new locations, culture and history, but most especially she likes sunshine and being on the water. She spends her free time with family and friends, boating and kayaking, and volunteer work. Marti is a member of the Rotary Club of Gig Harbor and Past President of the Rotary Club of West Seattle.
Industry education and providing continued education to agents is a prime focus for Marti. She has operated an entry level travel school and serves on the Education Committee for WESTA travel consortium.
Although the travel industry has changed a lot in recent years, one thing has not changed. Service. At Anderson Travel we take pride in our reputation for high customer service. Marti enjoys the personal contact with clients and when she can't be traveling herself, she enjoys traveling vicariously through my clients.
Terry got into the travel industry because of a passion for learning about and promoting tourism around the world and the home front. She finds it very satisfying to help clients plan a honeymoon, a family vacation or the trip of a lifetime.
With more than 35 years of travel experience, she still finds the opportunity to learn something new every day that will benefit customers with value and the wonderful experience that only travel can provide.
She has been with Anderson Travel for more than 20 years and takes pride in the fact that the company was built on a high level of customer service, and she strives to give clients the best customer service that is possible. Coupled with her knowledge and desire to continue learning, she has the ability to help you put together your dream trip.

She has a degree from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) as a Certified Travel Associate and holds many different certifications of specialization in a numerous countries, including Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific, Mexico, Hawaiian Islands, Europe, and for various cruise lines.
Sabine specializes in cruises and small group travel. She has travelled extensively and loves to take small groups to some of her favorite places. She has been in the Travel Industry since 1986, is a European and cruise specialist, but is well-travelled worldwide. Recognizing that there is always more to see and experience, she continues to attend seminars and events to further her education and learn about new exotic destinations, resorts and special sales.
Sabine is often invited to share her expertise by guiding book club discussions on various destinations as well as other guest speaker events. Being a "people-person" she takes particular joy in these opportunities.
Travel is her personal passion and she loves to share her expertise with her clients booking cruises, land packages, and tours.
Jill Mycka began her career in the travel industry in 1979 at American Express Travel in Philadelphia, Pa. Starting in corporate department and quickly moving up to the leisure travel and cruise dept., working as a travel assistant in this extremely busy office. It was at this time that she realized that Cruise consulting was her passion. This passion has continued throughout the years.
Jill's specialty is arranging group and individual cruises worldwide. Working with Holland America, Norwegian Cruise Line, Seaborne, Princess, Celebrity Cruises, as well as several river cruise companies, gaining extensive itinerary and accommodation knowledge. These groups and individual cruises include itineraries to Alaska, Caribbean, Europe, Asia, South America, Australia, Hawaii and Mexico. She takes great pride in providing clients with a seamless travel experience, tailored to each group's specific wants and needs. Whether it's arranging a honeymoon for two, or a special interest group of 100+ passengers, the same excellent customer service and care is taken to insure a once in a lifetime travel experience.
Judy Rowand began her career in the travel industry in 1968 with Northwest Orient Airlines in Seattle. Having grown up in Spokane, she moved back there in 1971 to help out in a family business, Red Carpet Travel, when they needed an agent with airline reservations and ticketing experience. Travel consulting became her passion and she bought Red Carpet Travel from her parents.
Judy believes that one of life's greatest enrichments is 'travel' - and has traveled extensively in Western and Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Tahiti, Asia, the United States, Mexico and Caribbean on land and via ocean liners and river boats. She specializes in Ocean and River cruises, luxury travel and small groups.
Throughout her career, Judy has been active in various trade organizations and has served on industry committees as well as on the National Board of ARTA (Association of RetailTravel Agencies), allowing her to meet and learn from industry leaders and entrepreneurs. In 2009, she sold Red Carpet Travel in order to spend more time with her growing family and to travel. She keeps busy in 'semi-retirement' with involvement in various organizations and lots of activities, but especially enjoys working part time serving a few cruise and tour clients at a time.
Terri’s love for travel matches her desire to help others make their dreams come true. She is in the Travel Industry because she truly loves helping people. She loves the research and challenge when planning Itineraries.
Her dedication to customer service and professionalism drew her to Anderson Travel and earns accolades from her clients. Terri gets particular pleasure when clients return with pictures and stories of their experiences and their memories.
Terry has been in the Travel Industry for 17 years. She is proficient in all aspects of travel planning, working to provide the best travel experience for each traveler. Her personal travel includes Mexico, Canada, Las Vegas, Europe including the Isle of Wight and numerous trips to Hawaii, where she always comes home with amazing memories.
